Bradford,

Yorks,

Tues. 2 Oct.

Darling,

Just a few quick lines before I go down town, the noise is terrific in the big hall outside, the boys are busy pulling their beds to pieces, and packing their kit bags, I have packed mine all ready.

Well dearest how are things at the City General, have you everything under control, I hope you are not so busy this week as you were last Saturday. I shall be writing you a longer letter tonight my dear, this is a sort of introduction, I could not possibly go by a pillar box without dropping a little note in for you.

So till tonight my dear, I send you all my love and kisses, darling mine

I am always,

Yours,

Henry.
