Slept like a log.We have put our names in for the cookhouse job, Dick and I, whether we get it or not is purely luck.I have made a copy of our ration here at the end of the book. weather is dirty today. We get marching orders within an hour. Rush around and get packed, it is for better or worse we are leaving this dump. Marched 5 kilo to a barn for the night, guards are no good: one of the boys get beat up. Have tin meat roll, and cup cold milk.
