Slept sound. We had a tin of meat loaf and two slices of bread and coffee for breakfast. Don't travel so well today, I'm a little bit stiff and footsore. Heading towards Bautzen again. We eventually arrive at a barn on the hill. A Sgt Major is here and a few men, he kindly informs us that the place is lousy. We get a soup and a little hot water tonight. Sleep very packed together. Cold here too. This looks like our abode till the end of the war.
